Best cheap/easy mod youve done.

I dunno if there's a thread like this or not but i thought id give it a go.

I want to hear all the cheap or quick fixes and add ones that have been more useful than anything you couldve ever paid for.

What I've done is cut my bumper. On my first trip out I caved in my two front corners and found that they limited approach angle.

So what i did was took everything off. Cut the metal inner bumper and plastic bumper. In doing this I effectively cut off the mounts for the plastic bumper. So all i did was make new bolt holes.

Definitely shoulda painted those bare metal edges... oh well.

And there ya go. Oh. Another money saving trick is if you do have caved in stock bumpers you can use an air compressor and fill the bumper with air till it looks like itll burst. You have to plug a couple holes with your fingers while you do this but its a fairly effective fix. Ive done it on my rear bumper after i was bumped by my buddies H1. The lines where the plastic was creased still show but at least it doesn't look like I suck at parallel parking.

Now lets hear what you've done.

Im guessing since you said its easy to debadge that all the badges are stick ons?

I may like to do that. The trail rated badge bugs me. Except i like representing the Rubi sticker.

drilled my side mirrors for water drainage. No more water streaks down the side of my Jeep.

And take off the stickers.

Huh? I guess you did this to your TJ? because a JK already comes with 32's from the factory.

FWIW, my 35" spare fits on my factory spare mount with no modifiation.
