looking forward to mod 6...

just ordered mod 6...

...i hope it will be here before i have to leave for another week

after this mod, it's suspension and wheels/tires.


anyone want to guess the mod i ordered? it cost me all together a little under $200.00.

well...after the ***-chewing i got today, this will be the last mod until taxes...lol, i'm glad i already gave my wife her christmas gift ($1500 tag watch). it was a little easier to sell her on these puppies:

mod 7: 255/75r17 BFG MUD TERRAIN TIRES W/ RUBICON WHEELS - oh, shizzle; did i score on this find! man, why hadn't i found craigslist earlier?!? tires have 2500 miles on them. practically brand new...thanks chip. you have a sweeeet ride!

anyone know the recommended psi for these ^ tires? sidewall says 50psi max load...door sill on jeep is for the 225's and says 35/36.

...i aired them up to 35, for now. they were @ 25psi when i put them on.

it seems no lower than 28 psi (unless in sandy or climbing), and no more than 50 psi (at max load). i'll test out going a little lower than 35 psi to see if that makes it a little smoother of a ride.

I just put 1500 miles on my Ruby with 40 psi in the M&Ss

Rode a little rough, but the tires were quiet, untill about 70 mph

otherwise, 20 mpg and no problemo
