I ordered a set of XRF balljoints. They're from taiwan but under very strict QC. Might be the same case.

I'm not sure how to read that. Were the ball joints made in Taiwain? Or was the plastic bag made in Taiwan?

I don't know

I guess I would like to think that the ball-joints were made in Taiwan just so we know where they come from since the joints themselves were not marked. On the other hand it would be nice if the products sold by Alloy USA were if fact made in the U.S.A.

I just finished installing them along with a few other things. They are tight as hell! I sure hope this is normal and they will break in a little as right now they stay pointed in whatever direction you point them.

Mine were the same, I torqued them to specs and almost crashed about a quarter mile down the road. After re-greasing them and about 400 miles they were good.

Thank's, that's good to hear.
The first few blocks were quite the white knuckle ride with every bump in the road pointing me in another direction
I can tell it will gradually subside, it will be fun in the mean time keeping it straight in the L.A. traffic.

Well I decided on the Alloy USA joints which is unusual for me to make my mind up so quick (Iím slow as molasses when confronted with choices) and get my credit card out to order them. As luck would have it I waited all day until they were closed. Sure hope I havenít changed my mind by next morning.

After 40 miles of city driving they are starting to brake-in a little. This morning on the way to work was quite the white knuckler and I wasn't about to get on the freeway. The ride home was much better and though still staying off the freeway it was not too bad at 50 mph with two hands on the wheel.

I just ordered the ball joints this morning and Iím glad I wasnít able to last night. I say that because I decided to go with synergy instead of alloy usa. What changed my mind was what JKZero posted; customer service goes a long way and for a few more bucks itís worth it to me, thanks JKZero for reminding me.

I was able to get them for $180 and free shipping so that made it even a sweeter deal. I feel so much better (comfortable) that I went with synergy.

I had the Synergy ball joints installed 20K+ miles ago & they are great. But, I got 80K+ miles out of my original ones. How many miles do you have on you 2012?

Yup, it was directly from Poly Performance. I asked if there was some sort of discount for JeepForum members and he dropped it down to the $180. The free shipping is listed on their site for the ball joints so it all worked out great. I be happy.
