Back space for 35" wheel

I have surched in the forum, and am not sure with the back space for my JK.
the lift is Rock Krawler Max Travel 2.5" , will put 315/70/17 wheels. Should I go for 4.5" / 4.75"/ 5" back space?

4.5 is usually the recommendation for a 35 inch tire...5 will stick it way out and add even more stress to the suspension.

Correct, 5" BS will tuck it further UNDER the flare, not extend it further out.

IMO- I like the look of them tucked in a bit more, but for clearance, they need to be spaced out a bit. It also depend on the wheel width, and tire itself. Some tires shoulder can actually be an inch or more wider than the same size tire with a different design.

4.5 will give you the option later to upgrade your tie rod. Most aftermarket ends require a minimum of 4.5 for clearance.

I run 16x8" ProComps with 4" BS. With stock steering stops my 315/75-16's rub the front control arms and sway bar just enough to wear off the paint. I think that's pretty perfect. FWIW, I run an RK Max Travel Pro suspension.

This pic should give you a pretty good idea what it looks like.
