On the fifth time the key should be in the "on" position, push up on the power door lock.

To re-enable, follow the same proceedure, except press up on the power door lock 2 times.
Look's good except that I believe if you press up once it shuts the whole feature off. If you press up twice, the auto lock is still on but opening the drivers door will unlock all four doors at the same time. I'm not sure how you can return it to stock since I haven't played with it. I got it to do what I wanted and stopped for fear of not finding my happy place again.

From what I understand you can also take it to the dealership and they can configure it to do exactly what you want via the computer.

Good luck, Rich

Thank you for that extra note. The FAQ now says:

Does this seem a little better? Also, would pressing down on the power-lock once set the auto-magics to work again?

Awesome, that's one thing my truck did that I really miss on the jeep. Will be able to change that tomorrow.

thanks

since I posted the original question I thought a thanks to all for the help was in order. I got it set up so that it still auto locks but when I open my door all the doors unlock at the same time. That is perfect for me. Thanks again

Well, I went out and tried this and successfully disabled the autolock feature. Unfortunately, that wasn't my intention; I wanted to set it to unlock all four doors when I open the driver's door, as mentioned above.

Now I'm unable to get autolock enabled, let alone set it up like this. A few questions:

1) How do I enable the autolock again? (I'll be double-checking my manual tomorrow, but I didn't see anything about it.)
2) When ready to follow the steps listed above, are the doors supposed to be locked or unlocked when I start?
3) When I cycle the power lock switch, do I unlock twice, or do I unlock, lock, unlock? (Or some other variation?)

Thanks!

Well, that's a first.

1) If you remember the steps that you did, I would imagine doing the exact steps again will enable them.

2) The doors were unlocked when I did it.

3) I pushed it up (unlock) twice, but since then some others have said that it didn't matter because it worked for them and they only did it once.

Hope that helps, and good luck. And if all else fails I'm still pretty sure the dealer can set the locks to do what you want.

Well, I ran through variations of these steps and somehow 1) got the autolock to work and 2) got the doors to unlock together.

While I had some difficulties, they weren't caused by the instructions provided. Thanks for the help, FireMedicXL
