Aries Security Deck - Your Experience?

Not many reviews and user experience on this item anywhere.

I would sure like to hear from users who have this and how they like it.

And.......if you do like it where did you purchase from?

thanks !

This will be installed in a 2013 JKU..Softop

Any current information on these? There are two reviews on Amazon.com that make it sound scary but I really like the design more than the other options I've seen.

I was thinking the same thing...
I watched a couple of install vids (mainly to see how it was constructed and mounted) and it does look solid. If I was to use one I would definitely put some rubber between all the sheet metal joints!

I don't like how far forward the front wall is. I have removed my seat and am decking and making a cargo control/deck something like this - but placing the front wall back about a foot - to maximize the area for loading right there close to the CG...

I have had mine in my 2012 jk for 6 months. Very rarely hear it. Even bouncing off rocks while on the trails. It I'd solid. I weight 275 and have sat on it many times and it does not give or bend. It's not the most fun to install and swapping the hard top on and off can be a headache getting the 6 side bolts in and out. Easy with the soft top since I don't have to mess with them. It will NOT keep water out of the back at all. The seams are not sealed and there are small gaps around roll bars and corners, by design. It seems well made so far. I like the security the most.

That's awesome. Never seen it before but now I want one. Anyone have any idea how hard install/uninstall is? It would be going in my hardtop and I would like to be able to quickly put my top on in the event of rain

EDIT: Scratch that. I just saw it installs under the hard top. Cool!

It's not hard to install but I won't say easy either. Lol

It does mount under the hard top. Use the supplied bolts and plates. Put your original hardtop bolts and plates in storage. They won't work easily. Atleast I gave up. Lol

Just read the instructions first and lay the parts out. Follow the instructions and it's not bad
