Anyone fix the Cowl Dent from the door hitting it?
I purchased a used 2010 that has matching door dents on each side cowl... just wondering if anyone had luck fixing their dents...

I've got one on my passenger side that came with the Jeep when I bought it. It'll get covered up nicely when I get a snorkel.

Yes I had luck fixing the dent. With the hood up I used a hockey stick to push the dent back out.

had one on the drivers side and the dent guy that comes around to the dealers worked on it but could get it completly out. It was pretty bad and he got most of it but theres still like a dime size dent. He said it would pop the paint if he went any more with it so be carefull if you care if the paint cracks.

mine has dents on both sides and every other jk that I've seen other than the ones on the lot have the same dents... and it's not from the doors hitting.

i had a dent on the driver side from the bottom of the mirror hitting it. and it takes very little effort to cause a dent. i had a dent repair guy at work fix it for 60 bucks, cant even tell it was there now

If it's not from the doors (mirrors) hitting, what is it from?

I have one on each side from my half door mirrors hitting it before I got the door straps on. I am takeing it to dent doctor tomorrow. It is a $200.00 repair, $100.00 per dent,OUCH.....

I have a small dimple on the driver's side caused by operator error. It is being preserved as a constant reminder to hook the strap on the door before letting go. The dealership quoted me $50 to pop it out (so you KNOW it is small), but it is worth more to me as a deterrent.
Anyway every Jeep needs a dent or two, I am glad I have it and won't fret when I get one from a tree!

I had one on teh passenger side. Not as big as some but still very noticeable. A local dent guy took about and hour and a half and got it 99% out. I can't see it unless I am reaalllllllllllllllllllly looking. He said it was a hard area due to paint and metal thickness.
