I dont think DCX will give any test vehicle to a aftermarket supplier untill they are in production. To many engineering changes happen within the current suspension development, they are trying to fine tune there own designed suspension let alone hand off a vehicle to an aftermarket company that has no where near the resources and engineering capabilities as DCX has. MHO from someone who works with DCX and TNAP (toledo north assembly plant) on a regular basis.
Then whats up with these pictures?

As was stated earlier in another thread, maybe even this one....

They wre driving those jeeps around, TRYING to break them. That way they can see just how much trashing they can take. If that really was poison spider, then I can imagine they want to see how much their mods can take as well.

Interstingly enough, the first time I saw these pics, they did NOT have the Poison logo stamped on them, and the poster said that is was the Chrysler guys that showed up at some organized trail ride or something. There were also pictures of the same JK's on forested trails and what not.
Makes me doubt the validity of the claim that these are Poison spider guys.

Whether or not that is Poison Speeder, I know for a fact that Nth Degree has been prototyping with Jk's for over a month and a half.

I dont doubt they have given some out. In fact theyd be dumb not too. There's gonna be lots of folks tat are gonna want new bumpers right off.

My point is that those pics that have the spider stamp on them, are part of a series containing about 5 diferent JK's. Im pretty sure Poison is that lucky.

I remember reading in JP mag that Rancho has had a JK in their shop for a while now to start work on lifts. It really does only make sense that Jeep would want as much aftermarket support as possible; look at this thread as a perfect example. As soon as someone posted the pics of the photoshopped Unlimited, everyone came out and said how cool it looks. DC needs that sort of excitement for this thing to work.

They are on the Poison Spyder website under Spyder Bytes. So I imagine they had something to do with that run.

I imagine most of the aftermarket already has their hands on JK specs...
