another wheel question

i am picking up jk, 4dr, on saturday. i have a set of 33's that i was going to put on, but they came off of 15 in wheels. can i get 15 in wheels for a jk, since the stock only come in 16,17, or 18. the guy at the dealership told me he did not think i could get 15's, but he didnt sound to sure about what he was talking about.

yes, you sure can...you just need to make sure that the bolt pattern and backspacing are correct for the JK

speaking of which...what is the bolt pattern and backspacing for the stock wheels on the JK? I believe that the pattern is a 5 on 5" but have also heard 5 on 5.5"...anyone know which it is? Also, anyone know the stock backspacing?

I just put 33 12.50's on mine
15 inch procomp street lock wheels with 3.75 backspacing.

They stick out about 3 inches past the flares but look very good.

It looks like a 15 inch wheel will barely clear the brakes and you will not be able to offset to the inside any deaper than 3.75 because it will hit the steering. If you go up to a 17 or 18 you should be able to set the wheel in deeper.

So far im running with no lift....but I do have a 2 inch sitting here to install. I would think if your not going to offroad the jeep a 33 will clear with no lift.
