I love this thread. The mods your doing with your jeep are almost the exact mods I have been looking at. Although as much as I want a set of duratracs my first mod will have to be a gobi roof rack. Your rig looks good with the new shoes!

35"s on 3:21 would be in the need gearing club i think, people do it, it can lead to clutch issues.

you need new carriers i think to move to say 4:11 and up?, gears, master setup. i can see with quality parts this being expensive with out labor. Plus if you ever wanted lockers now is the time to do it, you have to pay for a new carrier anyway though those are cheep compared to say ARB. If you are paying labor. another 2k and change for those parts.

Yeah it's a big loss of power but the price for regearing is painful to look at. I'm sure once I run out of exterior mods that will be on the table as well as some engine upgrades.

In other news "the beast" (working name) is doing famously. Since I've last checked in I've put on an xrc front bumper, xrc 8 winch, another set of kc lights (Apollo series), gutted the carpet, added some drake accents, and picked up some rugged ridge mirrors for when the doors come off. And am getting a corsa dual exhaust system. Now I know some of you are gonna say it's useless but I only want it for some extra grumble. Old muscle guy that needs his fix here.

Oh has anyone picked up the best top quick release bow knuckles? I bought them and I have the sun strider soft top. Apparently they don't fit but bestop doesn't want to acknowledge this.
