Another brake upgrade opinion/question

I've been looking at brake upgrades for awhile and read as many threads as I could find. Seems like a lot of people are going with the teraflex big brake kit:

Can anyone give me real world feedback on both of these after having owned/driven with them for awhile? If you bought the teraflex, what did you do with the rear?

I've had the Teraflex kit on mine for two years now and have loved it from day one.



Just make sure you get the master cylinder to match the calipers otherwise you don't get the full stopping power of the kit. When I first installed mine I figured I could go without the extra expense of the master cylinder and had a really soft pedal. About a week later I installed the master cylinder and it was a day/night difference in stopping power and pedal feel.

The rear is left stock. There's really not reason to increase the size of the rear brakes for the average Jeep owner since the majority of braking is done by the front.

Not sure how much you are wanting to spend but maybe try the teraflex big rotor kit. It is way less expensive and a very easy install and will give you a nice boost in stopping power.
I personally don't find the stock brakes that bad even with 35's on.
