Am radio not working

WE have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler 4 door with the Sirus Radio and about 5 months ago the AM stopped working. FM radio still works fine but for AM we have to crank the volume so high that the static cuts out anything you might hear. What do we do?

Hi JX-PeaceKeeper,

Sorry to hear about this! You can check if there are any software updates available for your Uconnect system by entering your VIN here: https://www.driveuconnect.com/software-update/. If you end up deciding to visit your local dealership for further diagnosis I'd be happy to offer assistance if needed, just PM our page with your VIN and let me know.

Our radios have AM band?
Sounds like an antenna/ground issue... follow the antenna leads and make sure they are all tight.
