Having just seen the Rescue at the Indy Auto show this past weekend I'm guessing that the flares are metal and not plastic, at least that's the way the rescue's were....overall I think that the new wrangler is off the hook

I agree! I can't get enough info on this baby. I heard the flares are detachable.
Someone complained about them being plastic! I think its fine..easy to replace,
or cut..

I have to agree with those who HATE it.

I especially dislike the looks of the interior. It has many good points, but for me the styling is not one of them. Its really going to look stupid on 18" wheels.

After I saw the pix, I ran outside and hugged my LJ.

looks nice, notice the glove box is even smaller though.

My wife's first comment was that she didnt like the angled grill.

Hmmm.....

Is Chrysler trying to take on the GM's H2 & H3? The boxy squared look seems to be hot these days...look at the commander. I'm not saying I don't like it, I'm just making a statement, putting it out there, anyone agree? Also take a look at the dash. If i'm not mistaken the Hummer has similar air vents.

Anyway it is time for a change whether or not it follow the status quo. I bet all the aftermarket companies are drooling (and dreaming)

I feel the same way, but the new Jeep is no more radical than a YJ is from a CJ. I bet it'll sell like hot cakes.
