Air Compressor?

On my last trip to the Outer Banks NC moving between beaches on the highway I blew a tire due to low pressure and highway devider pegs.

Does anyone have an onboard compressor? I don't mean these wimpy ones you buy in the five and dime , but one that I could be mounted permanently in the engine compartment.

checkout www.hornblasters.com the tanks are for their horns, but they can be used for having onboard air as well. In looking at mine, I'm going to try to mount the tank inside the front bumber. Some of the tanks are oiless so they can be mounted any way May have to have a bracket or two made, but that should not be too difficult

Looks interesting, I think I will wait till I get my X.

Do you have an idea as where to mount the parts?
