AEV Rubicon?

Any way to ID the specs of the AEV package?

I am looking at a 2012 JK Rubi that appears to have the AEV JK350 package that was factory installed. Has the headrests and dash guages along with all exterior stuff.

I did a vin lookup and all it shows is the Rubicon package but no reference to the AEV package.

Is this something that should show up on a vin search?

Going to see it tomorrow hopefully it looks as good in person as it does in pictures and everything mechanically checks out.

The factory does not do those packages, none of that is "factory installed".
AEV is an up-fitter. They get the vehicles from the factory in stock form, then add their goodies at their facility. None of this would show up on the VIN.

If it was done by AEV there would be an AEV serialized build plaque that you can use to reference what was installed.

That is what I was thinking, expensive packages.

Thanks.

Well, not in 2012 but with the 65th anniversary Rubicon and some of the other packages, AEV was the supplier for those bumpers, so AEV also has accessories for them. Swing out tire carrier, winch plates, bull bars are several that I know of.

Picked it up on Saturday. Pictures did not do it justice, much better looking and it great shape.

Cannot find the AEV serial plaque, but it has all the JK350 options.

Not sure on a 2012, by my 2016 AEV build plate is in the right front door jam. I was lucky enough to have my Rubicon in the display at the open house AEV had when they moved into their current location in Wixom MI. Great company to deal with, and their products are second to none. Enjoy your Jeep.

I wish but I am sure that would have boosted the price to out of my range.

I did get an email back from AEV and based on vin# it is one of their in house builds, no plaque though. Nice to know all the mods were done by the professionals.

Very nice, I really like the way they mounted the US Flag, really makes the unit stand up and salute!
