Adding Power Door Locks

OK, so I have a 2008 Wrangler X which is all manual (no power windows or locks), so I wanted to know is it possible to add power door locks to my vehicle without allot of after market perts and drilling?

Has anyone ever attempted this process and is it evan possible?

I added power locks to my half doors when I assembled them. BUT my 08 is power equipped to begin with (power locks/windows on the full doors).

You'd need to replace the latches, harness, and provide a power source. So that means getting deep into the door (past the window assembly) and possibly modifying the block connector to the chassis to feed power.

There are threads about folks adding power windows to JKs, those might give you some ideas.

I bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimted without power locks and power windows. I put power locks in. Just went to my local best buy and bought power actuators. I had them install it, and a Viper alarm system with remote start. They work awsome. Haven't had any problems. The only downside I have is, I don't have a unlock/lock button. So I have to use my remote every time. I am also looking into power windows. I found a company called Elertric Life that makes aftermarket kits for Jeep Wranglers. Cost around 500 dollars. But comes with everything.
