6th gear synchro
'13 with 35,230 miles on her. Made an appointment with the dealer for the bad 6th gear synchro (grinds bad when I throw it in gear) the dealership can't get me in until December 15th and I'll most likely be over the 36,000 mile basic warranty. Is this something that they'd even cover, and if so would it be with the power train warranty anyway since it's a trans issue?
Should have a 3yr/36k bumper to bumper so it should be covered. However, if it's clutch related it may not be as it'd be considered wear and tear... Call them back up and tell them you are close to 36k and you wanted to bring it in before that.... They should make an exception.
As long as you notify them and schedule the work before warranty runs out, you are OK.
