500 watt amp for sub to fit under JK 4d back seat. Please post your amp!

I'm looking to install an amp that will fit under the backseat of my JK 4dr.
For those that have done this, can you please post the name and model of your amp?

Not exactly what you were looking for but the old and new Alpine PDX amps fit in the rear cubby.

Thanks for the suggestion but yes, I'm still looking to install the amp under the backseat.

Keep in mind the back seat touches the floor when folded forward.

I'm guessing you're referring to the seat portion of the backseat?
I've thrown battery cables and a small toolbox underneath the seats but now I'm wondering if I ever folded the seats down while I had stuff crammed under there.

The install is twofold: to hide the amp and to not take away any space from the back. But I want to be able to fold the seats down too. So I guess it's threefold

Probably not. I keep several items under the rear seat too but whenever I need to fold down the seat everything must come out in order for it to go flat.

have you ever checked out the front under seat brackets that several forums members installed. its mounts snugly and securely under either of front seats and i would be a major pain in the butt for anyone to even attempt to steal an amp mounted on one. sorry it is not exactly what your looking for but it pretty dam secure and hidden alternative and by the way its a Alpine PDR-V75
