4" Rough Country Lift questions

I'm looking at buying this lift : http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_4.html

What I'm wondering is whether or not I will have any problems with the driveshafts or driveline height. I can't spend another dollar on my Jeep until next year after this lift, tires and wheels so shafts and gears are out of the question.

The other alternative is to buy this lift: http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_2perf.html

But from what I can tell I'll then need spaces putting the total cost right around the 4" (but possibly with no added stress on driveshafts)

My tire/wheel combo is going to be BFG KM2's in 35x75x16 on ProComp 7089's.

Any input is appreciated.

MyGIG REN for sale, works perfectly.

Looking for a 2DR JK softtop in good condition. Located in ILL.

I am lifting 4.5 inches and I will be putting in a bigger shaft. My buddy rode his around without a new shaft for a couple weeks and said it rode like crap.

You can fit those 35s on with that second lift and it will be a lot cheaper...

I have the RC 2.5" lift (very happy with it). I didn't want to go higher due to the very issues you are talking about. SO...

I'm running 35" KM2's. The tires rubbed the fenders when fully stuffed- did not do any damage, just makes a lot of noise. So I added a 2" body lift. I know people always talk down about body lifts. But it was the perfect solution for me- it raised the fenders up enough to get rid of the rubbing at full stuff. It was cheaper than a 4" lift along with all the other issues that a 4" lift can bring out.

Do you find that you get high centered alot when on trails or rocks? I got high centered 3 times on the last outing and it was crappy to have to get yanked constantly. What I'm hoping is that the combination of the 2.5" lift and 3 inch larger tires will get me high enough to get over those obstacles.

It sucked watching TJ's get right over stuff because of a BB.

getting high centered happens no matter what you have (I've seen 4" lift on 37's get high centered).

Proper spotting and the right line will prevent the majority of high centering. Do I get high centered? Of course I do. Does it bother me- not one bit. I have a strap and a winch for that very reason.

but dude- you have a 2dr JK. Bone stock you have a better breakover angle than a lot of the lifted TJ's. I think you might actually need lockers.
