hey guys.. i was wondering if anyone has tired running 37's on there JK with a 3" lift... im ordering my tires heres shortly and they prob will be in before my lift.. and i wanna get my 35's off my jeep and get them sold asap.. i wont be doing any off roading.. just driving around town till i get the lift done..
You will not be able to roll. Trust me. I have 37"s on a TF 3". You will have to trim the pinch seam and rock rail just to be able to roll. I did alot of trimming and "other" mods and have full flex/no rubbing with my TF 3" now.
BUT, you won't even roll without trimming. I had my spare mounted to mock up how much trimming I needed to do and after dropping the jack, the tire rested on the seam and rail.
it will prob rub.. but im gonna get the tires mounted to my rims anyways.. and if i do see rubbing.. i will just throw the 35's back on.. im just trying to get my new stuff on and get my old stuff sold.. so i can pay off the credit card.. lol
hey bigen, im doing it on road only with 2" lift. i had to trim the seem and cut 2" off my rock rail in the rear, then the front bumper had to be removed. im in the same boat as you. i have to wait for my lift to get here, but my rubie rims and tires were sold and the guy needed them now..... so my new rims and 37s are on. only rubs whe going over curbs, normal driving is fine, hope that helps cheers!!
so much sunshine, the jeep gods are smiling at me
