I'm not the best one to answer this one. (See below my name)

They tend to give me a better deal than most and I am an authorized AEV dealer. (GREAT company to work with by the way)
Anyone else with an AEV bumper want to field this one?

I don't necessarily like some of the mods you've done to your vehicle, but it's refreshing to know that you're modding it out to your own tastes and desires.

With that, I say, "To each, his own"

Cheers Bricktop2 and cheers everyone else!

Being a dealer, I'm always building what I think everyone will like. This time I'm building what I like. I think the finished product will be pretty cool.

Day 15...

Day 15...

Holy mackeral. Halfway to the 30 day mark already. I don't have any pics today. The front half of the lift is done, but the rear is not. My exhaust and gas tank are on the ground and the interior looks like a war zone.

On a positive note, the lights are all wired and they are BRIGHT when I turn them all on. I'll get pics soon. And I ended up going with a M.O.R.E. rear bumper with tire carrier (just about gave myself a hernia trying to lift the pig) so it's in the body shop getting finished to match the AEV front (or as close as possible anyways).

Barring any major setbacks, I should have some really great pics early next week.

Day 19...

Day 19...

Still nothing terribly interesting. Here's a couple pics of the AEV Heat Reduction hood before and after paint:

And here's a my dirty, half-lifted, no hood havin' JK:

I'm hoping tomorrow the lift will get finished. We'll see...
At the very least, I'll have some bad a$$ pictures of my newly installed hood!

Holy smokes the hood looks great! You wouldn't happen to have any pics of a black one, would you?

You know? I just might. Let me check with the body shop to see if it's done and I'll get you a pic.

not yet...

They don't have the black one ready quite yet, but in the midst of a really hectic day, I managed to get back into the body shop right as they were moving my rig back to the service department and I took this quick pic:
(Sorry, it's not great. It was up on the lift after this and I couldn't get a good angle. I decided to keep the screens silver for now until I decide what to do. More to come soon.)

M.o.r.e.

oh and here's the M.O.R.E. rear bumper. I like the hi-lift mount built into it. Am hoping to have it put on by Friday.

Hopefully you will drive it to work when it's done so those of us who are close can swing by and take a look at it. Looks good so far.

Will do! I only have until the 10th to get it all done to be on track so drop in any day after that and say hi and tell me what you think. I'm usually here from about 7:00 am to 6:00 pm M-F and 8:00 'till at least 2:00 most Saturdays.
