3 car seats

Alright folks. I really want a Wrangler 4-door but I have 3 kids in car seats. While I won't have the kids in the Wrangler often (they will be in the wife's Pilot), I need to be able to fit 3 car seats just in case. Has anyone tried 3 car seats side by side in the Wrangler 4-door? I know it will be tight, I just want to know if it is possible.

Thanks

This weekend we had a car seat (LATCH), a high-back booster (seat belt) and a booster seat (seat belt) side-by-side in the back seat.

3 kids under seven all very happy to be riding in daddy's Jeep.

Yep, three seats will fit. Now, I suppose there are some combinations of three seats that won't fit. I haven't tried a lot of combinations because I don't have my JK yet since I'm waiting on the low door/soft top. There are several inches more rear hiproom than my Saturn VUE and I can get a lot of different three car seat combinations in there. I have had my daughters car seat in the back of a JK as well as taking some measurements. Some narrow car seats that would help three fit would be a Cosco Scenera (5 point, not shield), Graco Cargo, Radian (Sunshine Kids) and the Graco and Babytrend infant seats tend to be the narrowest. For boosters (if one is older) the Evenflo and new Fisher Price booster are the narrowest high-back boosters.

Let me know if you need more suggestions, but it's totally do-able! I can't wait to try it out for myself with a bunch of my car seats. (I collect them....)

This is WONDERFUL news! I really want this vehicle but thought that I couldn't get it due to the car seat situation. Now that is out of the way. If all goes well, I should be able to purchase early 2007. Now, the only question is, what color. . . .
