2dr, half door, steel blue Sahara arriving tomorrow!

We're picking it up at 5:00! Arrived in OKC yesterday arriving today or tomorrow morning, pdi, wash, wax, then the keys! It's been about 2 months (order just after the new year) and had to give up the myGig. Oh well, now we get to find another GPS. Not sure if we're going with the Trail Guide or an aftermarket Garmin or TomTom. I'll post pics soon!

Alpine is coming out with a two part navigation system. The main part resides in the dash like most in dash navigation systems. Once you get where you are going and need a gps unit to go in the woods or whatever on foot, you press a button and a handheld part pops out and then you take that with you hiking or camping or whatever. It looks pretty cool, but is probably going to be expensive. It's not out yet, but I read about it on alpine's website.

Make sure they do any/all software updates to it. It will save you some time. I think dealers are supposed to scan, but you never know unless you ask.

For GPS, it really depends on what you want to do with it. For a movable GPS, I have the Garmin 2720 and could not be happier... Price was great ($550), maps are spot on, loaded with +6 million POI's, has good features and is easy to use in ANY vehicle.

Oh yeah, the reason I came to post... PICS ARE REQUIRED!!

Microsoft Streets & Trips with GPS receiver is good for the price of only $120. Install it on a laptop and you can also install it on a PDA. Some people hate the idea and some love it. Post pics of the Jeep when you get it. Can't wait until mine comes in

Thanks for the replies! I'll look into those GPS units and I'll post pictures as soon as I can! It did come in, by the way. It's the first half door of any model that I've seen in person, let alone drive.

Okay, okay! I'll get the pictures for you this weekend. I've taken them already but haven't uploaded them, yet....obviously. Sorry I'm taking this long, but I've been busy with the fiance and new house plans.
