thanks for the quick answer .... is there anywhere I can officially confirm this... the parts distributer told my custom shop that they discouraged any purchase until the mfg's listed the parts for 14's..
What is the point of waiting for 2014 than? Also you could get better deal on 13 model as I did, took 3 days to deliver by my dealer ...
2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S, hardtop, white, duratracs, tons of mopar parts
2012 Mercedes Benz C350 coupe, white
Bah stupid me, I "built" my jeep online and the email you get gives you the outline of what you bought. I forwarded that to my salesman at the dealership and he ordered it a couple of weeks ago... Now out of boredom I was looking at my list and noticed I didn't click the dual top box and am only getting the hardtop and NOT the soft top. In a panic I phoned my salesman this morning and tried to add that to my build. I guess he couldn't and was going to dig deeper into it and let me know. It's in "D" status which means its a flat piece of metal right now not even started and they can't change it?? Damn.
Put some pressure on your salesman to change order, worse case you order another one. It's worth a few extra weeks wait if you truly want soft top. It's not like he is gonna be stuck with a jeep he can't sell.
same advice here .... get what you want... my salesman (a friend of mine) says if I want to change color or anything else that it is no big deal... he will just order me another one and the dealership will sell the other....
I went with the standard 3.73, S package and soft-top, Basic radio. I found out they were offering the Anvil color from the 10th anniversary Rubicons so I got that color. I tried getting 4.10s but the dealer said they can't do that. I'm expecting mine to be delivered mid august.
I ordered an Anvil Rubicon Unlimited with 4.10 on July 16. I'm still in "Production Scheduled" status.
