Should be able to order now, it only takes them about 15 minutes to add the stickers...

I think they are neat. And the price is great compared to any other "special edition".
I'd take one of these over that Dragon edition any day.

I see nothing that speaks to me of the Willy's jeep I had one. Put on some flat fenders that are METAL some real sliders those Rubi ones will fold into and bend the tub up. You can buy these parts that are quality and the stickers for much less.

to each their own.....

what happened to the Super rubi they were to build with portal axles and such. now that might peak my interest.

This "special edition," which it isn't, costs nearly $3,000 more than a standard Sport. Buy a Sport with the same color, go to a decal shop and have them whip you up some nifty Willy's stickers for about $15, and slap them on your hood. Boom. I just saved both of you $2,985 and you still have the exact same Jeep shown above. You're welcome.

When these were first announced I had an interest since I own a 2005 Willys Edition...by comparison the 2014 version is meh. I know at all the auto shows they marketed it next to a true Willys but I just don't see it. The special editions usually sit around longer on the lots, so I'll bet if you found one on a lot somewhere you could negotiate it down to the Sport MSRP price and then you sort of got all those accessories included.

iPhone app user; excuse typos...thanx.

It comes with a 3.73 Trac Lok, Rubicon rock rails, Mud Terrains, Sunrider top with dark tint, the connectivity group, and a bit more. You can't even get the tires and wheels on a base sport.

No way can you equal this with a base sport/add-ons for the price.

Don't mean to argue, but go to the Jeep site and price them up. For what you get, the price is a bargain.

Either way, like it or not, I'm glad Jeep is offering different things for different tastes. Keeps the world interesting.

so it doesn't even offer the capability of a rubi, yet some how legendary? does that make my rubi godly?
honestly it's cool, but the wheels and tires aren't that great if you plan to upgrade, although theyll help with cash if you decide to sell. i do like the color tho

You're right. I stand corrected. The wheels are worth about $500 and the rails about $100. My apologies. I saved you $2,385. My bad.
