The cheat is to remove the ting and hide the ring with a key in it somewhere. Usually in the clamshell column.

That could possibly be true. Of the four cheap transponder keys that I bought off of ebay one of them did not take to the programming sequence.

I was looking at their application list and while it shows the '14 Wrangler and Unlimited, it stop at '13 for the Compass and Patriot.

Did they change something for the '14 Compass and Patriot or does it still use the same key?
