2013 leaking top

I have had my JK for about a week. It rained today and water would poor in when I came to a stop or took off. I am wondering if they just did not get the seal seated properly.

Thanks

a lot of jeeps have this problem, take it back several times till you realize its not getting fixed or do what i did and run a bead of black silicone on the inside top edge of the door frame.

Hi Jeepfreak71 and to the forum.

Congrats on your new Jeep. When you say it pours in are you able to see where exactly it enters? It is true that some JKs have leaky tops and there has been many reported here but hopefully itís something simple and easy to fix. Lucky for you is the fact that itís under warranty.

However, in your case I would take the Jeep in for warranty service.

This problem is really getting old. Come on Chrysler.... When are you going to actually address it?

It's stupid to lose potential customers because you can't stop a water leak.

You have a 3 piece removable roof... leaks can occur.

I had issues too right above the rear view mirror. Just take the panels off and make sure that the rubber seals are oriented in the correct ways (no folds) and be sure that the seals and surfaces are free of debris.
