As my jeep sits now with 4.11s and 37s my mileage is still between 14-16

Before you make an utterly outlandish statement that I'm full of it, consider: It's my jeep so how the heck do you know what it gets? Mine is an auto, stock 4.1, stock tires filled to manufacture pressure, JKU, maybe yours is a two door, maybe thats why you are uneducated on this topic?

MY JKU auto rubi gets 14.5mpg in town using the method of computing mpg as the fuel used to fill it and mileage on the odometer. I don't make short trips either, shortest is usually ten minutes, and I make two or three of these closely spaced so the jeep is warmed up.

Now, I admit, it can get up to 19.5mpg on the highway at 59mph (tested over a 200mile flat section of I10 average elevation of 1000ft no wind). If I push it to 61-64mph, it drops to 16mpg. Push it to 75mph and I get 15mpg. My mileage was worse when new, I got maybe 14 hiway or city.

Maybe i got the crap motor and the head is getting ready to detonate, as far as the dealer goes, they say it's perfectly normal. Trust me, if I knew the mileage on this thing was going to be so low I would have bought the Raptor. Yes, I know 4x4 get low mileage, thats all I've driven my whole life, last truck was however Toyo Taco 4x4, it got 19mpg, exactly what the sticker said it would, truck before that was a 96 Bronco, hit the mileage exactly as well.

I've only had my 3.73 JKU2013 a few weeks and this seems to be true. The worse MPG so far is driving around PGH at around 15-16 MPG. When I drive 55ish and I get 18+ MPG. But if I go 70ish it drops to around 16ish MPG.

I had the cruise set at 70.

Thats all I was trying to say in my first post, that I noticed the 2013 sticker had a lower MPG rating than my 2012 sticker MPG, which is a damn lie.

2012 rubicon unlimited stick with 4.11s... Yep, completely uneducated.

How do I know what your jeep gets? Because it rolled off a mass assembly production line - ifs the same as mine.

70mph is what killed you. back it off a little, 65 is plenty fast for a BRICK! As long as i keep my foot out of my '08 i get about 16-17 around town. And 20 on the highway. And i have a rubi sitting on stock wheels and tires with 4.10's

My bone stock 2013 auto got around 22mpg on a 600 mile trip on Dec 2 from GA to MD. The return trip with lift and 35 in tires was knock down to just over 16mpg. Stay at or just below I95 speed limits both ways. Believe rear gear is a 3.21. Both used the dash read out.

I can say so far that my 2013 is getting worse mileage than my 2011. Both are auto rubi's with 4.10's. The new one only has 1500 miles on it, so I an hoping that it will improve as the engine gets broken in. but I will never know the truth because my gobi track will be here tomorrow!!

I get 15MPG in City and 17-19 highway.

In Canada they were advertising 30MPG for 2012!!!! Lmao!!!! Bunch of idiots. I know that hyundai owners and Kia owners are given has cards ever so many miles because of false advertising and claiming certain MPG in there cars. Which turned out the be bogus. Maybe 2012 owners have a case as well

Holy crap. My SRT gets 16-17 on the highway and I thought that was bad. Was hoping i would get a bit better with a Rubicon.
