Since the OP doesn't like the cold and ice, maybe he should have got a "Sahara".

A lame joke followed up by an even more lame response...

Let's keep things on topic, shall we?

bpz888, can you take some pics of the hood, specifically where the vent would be. What's there in its place? Is it an installed panel or just all stamped from one piece?

I would suggest to them:
Replace this hack job with a real AEV hood that we KNOW works.
or...
Send the original to AEV so they can see how stupid you guys are, and fix it with the real heat reduction vents.

Power Dome.

AEV has a forum that I'm sure other MW3 owners are a part of. Might want to take a look over there and see what other owners and maybe some AEV reps have to say about it. aev-conversions.com
Thanks! I just signed up for the AEV Forum

Did you attempt tweeting your issue? Sometimes companies may respond quicker as they employ people to monitor that and don't like bad publicity. Just a thought.

I think it's amazing that somebody would pay a premium for what amounts to some stickers and other cosmetic crap.

My Arctic looks GREAT with stickers and cosmetic crap when I wheel to the mall. Don't need lifts and that other ugly crap to park in valet.

I really like the hillbilly millionaires here who after paying 30 thousand plus for their Jeep they just accept that Jeep won't fix it and they will fix there brand new Jeep themselves I love the one guy who nicely recommended me to shoot holes through the floors with a gun to let the water that leaks into my Jeep drain out !!!! I guess it's a Jeep thing lol

Let he with no sin cast the first stone. You did the exact same thing with your daystar hood latches. although yours were crap, it was still a fix for something Jeep f-d up.

not every fix is drilling holes for water, or water leaks, etc...

Your simple point is ? I believe a $40 pair of latches to change something I don't like , Versus a safety issue is a no brainer compared to spending 40 G's and having a safety issue AND Chrysler not doing anything about it Apostle seems you don't understand what we are saying here Jeep F-D UP with alot of EXPENSIVE vehicles ( water leaks engine problems etc etc ) and the point is some here just accept it and fix it themselves I dissagree with that and feel Chrysler needs to correct the problems THEY created
