Don't worry..... It's still here for the 2012 year. On a two lane road south of San Antonio big rig passed and it was Very apparent. Oh I have over 8000 miles on it now.

I have hood flutter on my '08 unlifted w/ air dam JKU. It has nothing to do with it being lifted or not. I found the best way to eliminate hood flutter is what I done on my Rubicon https://secure.aev-conversions.com/s..._Code=40303001

They will start to flutter after they get some miles I'm sure. My '11 didn't flutter for the first 6,000 miles now it does it all the time.

These Rampage will eliminate it. You dont have to lock them if you dont want to. Very stable!

Very easy! But a bit pricey,I paid 75 bucks. Solid metal and powder coated. I transfered the rubber spacer from my factory hood latches just to mantain no paint to paint rub.

Good deal, especially since the hood wranglers are 45.00 - 50.00 Thanks, I may actually put those on instead!

The flutter is more likely once the vehicle is lifted because the lift kits also tend to level the vehicle, thus reducing the downward force on the hood.
The removal of the airdam also increases hood flutter because when it is installed it creates a vacuum in the engine bay that pulls the hood down.
Before we get 15 posts into this, I am going to bail out on any further posts about this topic. We'll just leave it at a disagreement between us. I just wanted to make sure anyone that came across this thread in the future had accurate information.

Mine is stock. And my hood looks like it's going to rip off now. But I'm almost speeding on back roads with an occasional big rig passing.
I really like those that were just posted I'm in bad need of something. I'll be working down here for a good while.

I thought the PentaJesus engine would have fixed the hood flutter.
