2011 Wrangler Pictures

Just found this link to the 2011 Jeep Wrangler

2011 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited

What do you think? Has the 2011 Wrangler gone too soft? Or is it just right.

Overall I like the interior design and what I can see in ergonomics, but not the color combination paired with a silver exterior.

I think the interior strikes a good balance between utilitarian and not stepping into the luxury (Grand Cherokee) domain. I also think people need to keep in mind that some features are likely to be optional (e.g. color matched hard top, aluminum accents).

This was posted in the Wrangler GD forum a few weeks ago. I still say it looks too much like the interior of my brothers Mini:

2003 Patriot Blue Wrangler SE - RCX 2.5" Kit on 31x10.5 Firestone M/Ts and stock the rest of the way.
2007 Flame Red Wrangler Unlimited X - Skyjacker 4" Kit on 35x12.5 Cooper Discovery STT(My Build Details)

I don't mind the additions. But the 2 color interior is total FAIL.

for details and info on our JK's, check out http://n2rock.com

His: '07 Unlimited X, Jeep Green, Hardtop, auto, 5.13, 2.5" RC lift and too many mods to list

Hers: '08 X Red Rock, soft top, auto. Bunch of mods

It's not awful yet... they just need to stop here and not change it again until 2017!

Not a big fan of the two tone interior... however I'd gladly buy one... now if I can just pay enough off of my 07 to afford to trade it in (without getting totally killed in the process).

Why? Other than the interior changes, they haven't done anything big to it.

Those minis have nice interiors for such a little putt-putt. Still wouldn't buy one, but I have to give credit to the Germans [BMW]; they know design and makes most anything from Asia look like junk.

From the looks of the new interior door handles, lifting the doors off just got a lot more difficult.

maybe a dumb question, but if they are offering power mirrors, then what do you do when you take the doors off and mount the mirrors on the body???

Because I'm going to be getting a new one at some point anyway. I picked mine up used, and could live without the lower gears & lockers... (as it's cheaper to do myself & can get exactly what I want) but wheelling in 4lo with the roof on (keeps the mud out) and no AC really sucks (it's an oven in there if the suns out). And with the price of gears and lockers (~3500-4500 CND) and AC (3-4k), I might as well spend that 6-8K on a new JK Rubi that already has those things...

One thing I notice is that it looks like a seriously decked out Sahara interior with the leather seats and all. Wonder what the other model interiors will look like???

I like it, but I wouldn't go out and get a new Jeep just because of it. However, I am seriously liking those doors , those rock!!!

I have always liked Jeeps when they were up-dated but not the 2011. For me the interior is a total fail.
