2009 Jeep Wrangler 4 door unlimited mopar nerf bars don't fit

I bought a set of mopar nerf bars for my 2009 jeep wrangler 4 door. they actually stated they were for '07-08 4door jk. the body mount in the rear has a threaded hole and works fine. the middle and front body mounts have the holes but they are larger and not threaded so i don't know what to do. thanks in advance for replies. is there a difference on the jeep bodies from 07-08..i wouldn't think so but who knows.

Do the holes line up? Did you buy it new or used? If it was used you might be missing some hardware. If you bought it new I would call the place that you bought it from and tell them you are missing the hardware. I had a TJ that I bought some used factory running boards for and the hardware that goes into the hole was missing.

Not sure about nerf bars, but the side steps for the unlimited require threaded clips that go in the body holes for the forward two of the three underbody mount points

Have a look at http://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Installation/75628.pdf to see what I'm talking about.

Found the tube step directions, they also refer to the clips: http://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Installation/75620.pdf
