2007 Rubicon "in the queue"

I ordered a 2007 Wrangler Rubicon Steel blue with AT, dual top group, tow group, power group on 11/23. I fould this forum and have been lurking to pass the time and learn from the veterans.

Now I'm like a kid going to Disneyworld tomorrow. I found out this week that my Jeep is now in "D" status and I may have it near the end of January

The funny thing is that no matter what - status changes, calling, etc - is really just a distraction. I'll get it when DCX hands it over. Quite inconsiderate of them to shut down for a week when my rig is next in line to be built.

Oh well - venting over. Back to patiently waiting.

BTW - my wife reserved for me the vanity plate "BLUE 4 X 4" Couldn't believe that was available. I was going for the "ROBicon" but she thought it made me sound like a thief.

Welcome to your newest addiction. I've had mine since Sept. Whata blast.

Because I have been waiting since September they should paint your Jeep "Jeep Green" and send it to me. Just kidding. I hope you enjoy your purchase.

Congrats! Know the feeling -- like a kid going to Disneyworld. Your wife picked the good one: BLUE 4X4 sounds great. Post pic's when you get it.

I am a driver for DaimlerChrysler in Detroit, and I hear that the Toledo Jeep plant is working through the Christmas holiday week. They are too behind to take the week off. This may be a rumor, but I heard it from a good source. I too have a Jeep Green Sahara on order and I cannot wait to get it. They tell me the end of January.
