2007 JK vs 2004 Unlimited 2 dr

Firts post after snooping around here awhile. I'm looking at a 2004 Unlimited this afternoon. I was wondering how they compare to a new 2 dr JK. Any info is greatly appreciated.

They are completely different vehicles. The new JK has a v6 engine comapred to the I-6. The JK is wider and a better ride. Some may say a more capable machine, but the TJ is extremely capable. If the cost is close to the same, I would highly recommend the JK.

The Unlimited TJ offers a bit more room than the two door JK. (A bit narrower and a bit longer). I say you need to drive both before you make your decision.

I own a TJ Unlimited - test drove the JK Unlimited. Both are great. If price is the deciding factor - then the TJ would be the better choice. If warranty is the factor - then go with the JK.

I don't think you would be disappointed with either one.

I can guarantee you that getting into the back seat of the TJ is a LOT easier than the JK

.. of course you'll look cooler in the JK once you're in though
