Think I'm gunna go with the 2.5 tf coil lift (not the BB). I hear good things about it. And considering I'm not a hardcore rock crawler, I don't plan on using it for more than the weekend trips to the blue/green trails at Rausch Creek. I have a couple questions though...
I'm running that kit w/ the 9550 shocks. I ran w/ it for about a year complete how it comes. I recently added AEV control arm brackets to correct caster angle. Some people suggest adjustable lower control arms but the brackets met my budget. Pretty strait forward install. Can't really say anything bad about it and it flexes really nice.
It is a nice kit. If you are wanting a nicer shock, you could look at the 5100's from Bilstein. And as Gwar pointed out, you might want to look at doing something sometime to fix the castor in the front. Aside from that, it is a solid lift!
I have that set up with 315/70-17 Duratracs on Mickey Thompson Signature Series Wheels (4.5 inch backspacing) for a little over a year now.
I daily drive 60 miles on the highway, and I find there set up very drivable. I haven't tried any other shocks, but I have no issues with the 9550s. At 33 tires, you should have no problems with the OE drive shafts or stabilizer. I haven't quite as much off roading as I would have liked to, but so far my rig has been performing well.
I am very happy with my 2.5 and 9550s. The install took all of 8 hrs working by myself. the ride on highway is improved over factory - and off road on the rocks I am pleased (but immediately wished I HAD gone 3.5 lol). I have enough caster (4.2) that I am not worried about the relocate - but its a vehicle to vehicle thing - most likely you will not need. I do plan to put a .75 spacer above it - but at that point I likely WILL need caster correction (and possibly drive shaft) so its way down on my list... may just bite the bullet and go with a complete arms and spring kit. With my experience with TeraFlex - I will probably stay with their products when I do.
