1st time Jeep owner

It's a 07 Wrangler X rescue green soft top 6 speed, I pick it up Tuesday. I always had trucks and never really used the bed for anything, so istead of getting something I thought I needed I got something I wanted. One thing I noticed during the test drive is how smooth and quiet the ride was. For being a soft top at highway speed the was'nt that much noise. Now the ride in the city is different but I expected that. I'm have no plans to modify anything, but that will likely change. I'm glad I found this forum because I already found it useful for my Sirius plug and play on where to put the antenna. This forum is a world of knowledge. I will get some picture up soon as I can. Glad to be part of the family and might see some of you at a jamboree somewhere!!

Welcome, I said almost the same thing in 2004 when I bought my first Jeep. I am now on my 2nd Jeep and there is this thing called the "MOD" bug that once it bites you all common since goes away. I hope you enjoy your Jeep.

I've got both a TJ hardtop and a JK softtop. The softtop JK is quieter than the TJ at speed - something my wife really appreciates.

My first Jeep was a CJ5 softtop. My wife and I could literally not talk to each other without shouting when in it on the freeway. It's amazing how far Jeep has come in this area.
