I have the 07 sahara with the 18" rims and 255/70R18 tires on it(Bridgestone Dueler). This appears to be the most agressive tire in that size. I want a tire like the BF MT but cant find anything. I didn't want to lift jeep if I can help it. Anyone know of a good off road tire that will fit without a lift?
Rather than spend a few hundred dollar a tire, I got myslf some 17 inch rims and got the stock MT's from Tire Rack for $98 a piece...
I still have my 18's with the deulers on them for the winter time... It was the option that best suit m needs (wants) at the time... No lift required...
They're great. Obviously snow performance is something I am interested in. I had a smaller size of these same tires on my last vehicle for many years and they never let me down.
texasdog,do you have any lift or spacers with that tire? any rubbing problem?
Suspension is completely unmodified and no rubbing issues. They did have to adjust the turning stops a tiny bit - so I have lost some turning radius - but that's it.
Thanks, It's a BDS lift and I went with the most upgraded shocks I could get with the lift the 9500's I personally think it handles better now to be honest with you, it seemed so soft and spongy before it's a little stiffer now and I have only been offroad once with the lift on and they were easy trails so Iam not sure how well it will do in serious terrian. The tire size is 33x12.50x18 Just incase you wanted to know.
Sorry off topic, but does any one know how to post pics without a link? I am using imageshack.us right now??
