700km between stations? Where was that?

I really try to avoid anything less than 1/4 tank in hot weather.
Years ago I saw 4 cars with failed fuel pumps in 2 days. People were running
low fuel levels and the pumps were overheating and failing. I don't want to know what a new Jeep pump costs.

it was on top of the great lakes in ontario and and there were stations just not ones that were open 24hrs, and i was in a hurry on my way to the toronto area from whitehorse. I could have pulled into a station and slept for 2 hrs till they opened about 60 klicks before i ran out......

My '08 JK shows LO fuel with 4 gallons left. I ran it dry one time in order to discover this (I had my fuel can with me). It took 22 gallons to completely fill it back up.
