15's vs 17's need input

Alright guys, im not seriously considering getting some 15 Soft 8's, its either that or im keeping my stock 17's and using wheel spacers. the cost of some 15's is not much more than the wheel spacers but the tires are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper for 35's. I will either be getting Cepek Crushers or Kuhmo Road Venture MT KL71's.

The initial cost savings going with 15's is significant, as is the savings in the long run.

So for guys running 15's on 35's, how much handling stability have you lost, I know your gonna have more sidewall flex, but I remember having a 1980 chevy with 38's and 16's years back and I thought it felt fine, so I cant see it being a big problem on a light 2 door jeep
