'13 jk unlimited A/c question.

Hello everyone, new guy here with a simple question. I got a '13 unlimited wrangler, when I get in and start it the a/c never come on right away. Instead the defrost post button blinks for around 30-45 seconds then when it stops the a/c or fan will come on. Anyone have any information on this or is it normal? At 104 degrees you start to really sweat within that short period.

I would say that is not normal. My '13 JKU's AC fires up right away. Now the fan does take a 5 second narcoleptic nap every once in a while, but only after it has been running for a while.

Does that nap happen when the outside temperature shows 75 degrees? Mine does it almost every time. No idea why or if it matters? Always makes me a little nervous it won't start again.

I don't think so, but you have given me something to check for now. I hadn't noticed any rhyme or reason for when it happened. If the trigger turns out to be "75*", that will at least give the dealership something to go on.
