So I test drove a 10th A today. While checking it out I noticed on the right side of the rear bumper was a plastic plug, maybe for a tire carrier. Similar to the MOAB using AEV bumpers with the tire carrier delete plug. Anyone know if the 10th anniversary rear bumper is set up for a tire carrier?

I was told by the dealer that AEV makes the bumper and is ready for their tire carrier. I'm going to be calling AEV soon about this.

That tire carrier by AEV is a good investment, expensive for sure but after a few days youíll forget all about the cost.

Well after a year waiting to get back into a JK I finally pulled the trigger today. I ordered a triple Anvil, red interior, dual top, fully loaded JKU. Automatic this time with 4.10's. (I prefer manuals but got sick of the jumping out of gear, rattles, noises, violent shakes from the shifter my 2012 had.)

50 days plus or minus a few and it will be mine.

AEV does NOT make the bumper, but it was made by Chrysler (Quality Metalcraft or something like that) to accept AEV's tire carrier. AEV was not pleased with the similarity to their bumper, but they still get the benefit of folks buying AEV carriers for it.

10th ann shocks and springs

I've heard the suspension is different 10th Anniversary vs the regular rubicon. Does anyone have a picture of a 10th ann. beside regular 2013 Rubicon?

I ask because I'm picking up a set of shocks and springs off the 10th ann. edition this afternoon for $150. The springs on my 2013 unlimited sport are 17/59. Does anyone think this is a wise move if I ONLY plan to do a BB lift in a year or two?

Here' the CL ad for reference - http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/pts/3806358739.html

For future reference, the springs are 10th ann. unlimited are 68024461AA and 68196005AA in the ad.

Well I just bought my first JKUR today(currently have an 07 WK). Its an Anvil 10A with the red interior !!! I cant stress enough that pictures on the internet don't do this Jeep any justice. It looks amazing in person. I am not usually a fan of red leather interiors, but this is the perfect shade, not bright and very nice looking.

Wish I could have driven it home, but I am having the dealer install a 3.5" AEV Dualsport SC lift, the AEV rear tire carrier with 3rd brake light, and AEV Black Savegre wheels with 35x12.5x17 Goodyear MTR's. It will be ready this coming Saturday and I couldn't be more excited!!!

I'm hearing that the red seats are not as bright as they appear in the pics and that the color Anvil is a lot more gray than the pics. Jeep had different lighting at three different Auto shows and the 10A looked like a different color at exchange show. I can't wait to get mine.
Ys,in fact seats are not as bright as they would appear in photos... I just picked mine up theother day White w Red leather. Good luck, mine looks awesome. Pics will be posted
