Other than the seat color, I like it... Even the visible rwl's.

I am not a huge fan, but I do like the bumpers over the standard plastic ones. I wonder if they will start to make these bumpers standard on the JK in a year or two.

Yup, 82 lbs. per corner of fuel sucking, zero rain/snow traction, loud as hell, stiff sidewalls, harsh riding, load range "E", expensive as hell to replace, owned by the French, shorter than the tires on a stock Sport S, non-siped KM2 rubber. Ahh... the joy.

I thought Jeep had learned their lesson when they put 3/4 ton truck tires on the TJ Rubicon and got flooded with complaints?

I read that it has 3 locking differentials, I assume that's the two axles and the third is a transfer case locker?

When you select 4H or 4L the transfer case IS locked, is it not? That's why Jeep made the NV242 back in the day...so that you'd have a transfer case option for not locked.

All JK's and Wranglers for that matter use a part time transfer case. Read up on the details of what this means, but essentially the front and rear driveshafts are locked together in both of the four wheel drive ranges. Locking front and rear differentials and electronic sway bar disconnect are standard features on all JK Rubicons. In other words, the drive train is the same as a regular Rubicon.

The Sand Trooper on the other hand which I previously mentioned and posted a picture of features a hemi. Sadly, it was a one off that will never be mass produced.

Too many mods to list. Too awesome to sell.

If you look this up on Jeep's website you can check out the black version that has a red colored Rubicon label on hood. Looks bad-a$$ with the red interior IMO. I am currently trying to find a Crush orange JKU, but considering holding out for one of these depending on what the standard features include. Not sure if I can get everything I want on a new Rubicon 10th Ann. if the package itself is $4000 extra.....

The package includes leather heated seats, connectivity group premium soft top and the 10A bumpers, hood and rock rails. There's a few other things I am sure I have forgotten but all in all its not that out of line, IMO. IIRC when I built a 2 door rubicon online and added the standard features of the 10A it was like $1200 more for the hood bumpers and rock rails.

That thing is HORRID and what's worse, is beginning to reveal that the new Jeep management hasn't a clue. The 2013 Rubi wheels were the first tip-off, that crap looks like something rejected by Fiat...and probably was. Local dealer tells me the shoppers are turned off by them and are opting for aftermarket wheels right off the sales floor.

I really don't like those wheels. I have started to see a few driving around and they are pretty terrible. If I was a new buyer I would request last years wheels or the MW3 wheels. I like the older ones much better.

I actually like the new wheels. Just wish they were a tad bit darker in color.

I think the wheels are cool (kind of like an old Oldsmobile). I love the red leather (over the top is the way to go with special editions). I even like the anvil color and the funky front bumper. If, I were getting one, I'd get a soft top & add a Warn to the bumper and be done with it. I'd buy one; but, I'm too happy with my 2008 Rubi 4-door (I just added a RubiCrawler); so, I'm in that 4-5 week delusional state where I think I'm done building on my Jeep.

One foot in the grave & one foot on the gas pedal!!
