08 SIlver Unlimited BUILD W/ unexpected law suit

Ok guys I bought a 08 Unlimited and I am ready to go to work. Here is what I'm starting with

I have built a YJ

My last build was a Rubi

Here is a short list of mods for the next 3 weeks.

1. Skyjacker 3.5" lift
2. New wheels and 33s
3. Sniper Fab front and rear bumpers with Carrier SEE PAGE 4
4. Sniper Fab rock sliders SEE PAGE 4
5. Overhead install for Chrome Cobra 29 CB

I will post pics for each item. Let me know if there is anything you want to see or if you have any questions. I hope you enjoy

Stay tuned

Forgot to say that most of my parts will come from local 4x4 shops and eBay. I will not be ordering from the big chain shops. SUPPORT your local shops so they don't dry up and blow away. My favorite in OKC is Supplee 4X4. Bob Supplee is awesome.

This was my first Jeep and I really had no idesa what I was doing. I put some 15x10 wheels with 33" Maxxis tires. Put a new top on. Built a rear bumper with carrier that really wasn't all that good looking but hey it my first. I spent most of the time under the hood basically rebuilding and fixing prior owners screw ups. I sold it then bought my Rubi which I really miss.

My local shop suckass *** - they can't dry up and blow away soon enough.

It's not necessary for people to "support" their local shops. They can support themselves with quality service and reasonable prices. If they do that, everything else takes care of itself.

That's too bad for YOU, but I will ALWAYS support my local businesses! I still shop at my local hardware store before I go to Home Depot....

I do too. But if they had high prices, poor service and were highly inconvenient, I'd head my *** over to Home Depot.

Agreed....customer service and price drive my decisions. However, I will pay a little bit more if the customer service is there and it's local.

Of course. But:

a). I'm not going to take it in the *** so some guy can have his business.

b). I totally don't buy into the "support your shop" concept (it comes up with Dive shops and I'm sure other types of businesses too) - as if people are somehow entitled to have a shop of whatever kind suits their fancy, despite their inability to implement good business practices and stay in business on their own merits. I don't owe any shop anything. Neither does anyone else. If a shop can't be competitive, however you want to define competitive, then it DESERVES to go out of business, not be "supported".

FWIW - I hate HD and Lowes. I can never find anything, and rarely someone to help me. I LOVE my TrueValue though - right down the street and they are very helpful. Prices are competitive too.
