Thank you I think? Lol, yes need to update my profile now that I've learned a bit more about what I have thanks to another forum member, I prob have all stock still and so they had some pretty good ideas of what kind of engine and axles. About the Jane fonda comment? Lol isn't she old?? Funny, guess I asked for it by posing with my rose, but I love her! Yours is nice!! I'm forever a jeep owner now, this is just me gettin started
I should of said a younger Jane Fonda. No offense intended.Glad you got some help with the specs,I would of tried to help you out but am not familiar with the YJ world anyway I'm sure yours will turn out to be a real head turner.Oh and thanks for the compliment, made my day.
Thanks for savin that one although I am old lol! But your jeep does look awesome! I just wanna tag along on a 4 wheeling adventure now with some forum members, trying to figure that out for august maybe? Nice to meet you though, maybe see ya round? unless you have any trail trips planned that I should know about?
I'm a sucker for stock YJs....would love to have one someday....anyway, good looking Jeep for an '88. Profile should be pretty easy to fill out, most likely the carbureted AMC 258 I-6, Dana 30 front axle, Dana 35 rear axle. NP231 transfer case, and being that it is an 88 I'd guess you have the Peugeot transmission. 3.54 or 3.73 axle gear ratio but I'm only guessing here.

Hey thanks, yeah she is somewhat rough around the edges, but in better shape than some of the newer ones I looked at. Your presumptions about the parts were the same as what someone else suggested, so with it bein a consensus now, will try to get her profile updated. Yours looks awesome btw!! Someday hope to be able to make her my off-roading vehicle but not sure if that's too big of a dream or not.
