OK, I'll do a real story. Currently have a 1997 TJ that I just bought as a long term project (it needs a lot of work but is in decent shape) for my 14 yo son and I. However the first new vechicle I ever bought (after several used cars) was a 1979 CJ7 that I bought in January of 1979. A few weeks later we had a big snow storm that dumped something like 20 inches of snow in 2 days where I lived in Northern Virginia at the time. For a 23 YO who had a Jeep and a couple of days off work because of the snow it was the time of my life! I remember going to a friends house who lived at the end of a long cul-de-sac and being greeted by cheers from him and his brothers and sisters as I made it to the driveway- the only tire tracks anywhere around. I did a lot of grocery store runs for family and friends, as well as several trips for a local hospital to ferry doctors, nurses and other personal, back and forth from their homes. I remember just starting up a hill and a lady in a car came over the top and panicked and hit her brakes and started to slide sideways toward me, and, being in a Jeep, I just blasted over the side of the road and through a pile of snow and waited as the sliding car passed behind me and smacked into the guy who had been behind me. Only bummer was I had to stick around and give a report to the cops when they came. I also remember pulling a Fairfax County cop out of a snow drift so he didn't have to wait for a tow truck to do it. Even though I never got another Jeep until recently, I always have had a special place in my heart for them, and I am having a blast fixing the TJ up and working on it. You just can't have more fun in any vechicle like you can in a Jeep!!

Unibody? Manly? That just dont add up man. Nothing against xjs i dig em when you cut the back top off and reinforce the chassis.

I love my CJ cause its a freaking untamed beast. And its barely beefed up. Small spring, swampers, and welded gears. Goes everywhere.

Why do you love your Jeep?

If you have to ask...you're not doing it right.

Why? because I do, it takes us where ever we want to go, both urban (not a mall crawler but a Urban Dance transporter our little one is a Ballet Dancer), wilderness gets us out into the great Northwestern Ontario forest to see some awesome stuff and gets home safely which is what we love about our Jeep!!!

I love my jeep because I can go offroading as much as I want and still drive it on a daily basis. Plus how can you not love a jeep.

I love my Jeep because it reminds me that of all the boring, standard, and uninspired turns my life has taken, I at least did something right. Nothing beats a Jeep.
