Why do people tailgate me?
Ok so Im driving to a friends house and Im waiting at a red light. A C5 Corvette pulls up behind me. The light turns green and I proceed through the light. The corvette is up my ***. I can barely see the roof of the vette. He stayed this close to me for almost 2 miles to the interstate on ramp. We then get on the on ramp and the vette is still close to me. Finally on the highway he stays behind me like he is trying to prove something. I am in the far right lane and there is plenty of room for the vette to pass me on the left. He stays behind me for about another mile and a half. He finally passes me and looks at me like Im the ******* for not going 30 over the speed limit. I go about 5 over cause the Jeep doesnt like going that fast.
Is it me or do people think that the Jeep is a sports car or something?

i agree with the rabbit theory.
and the plus side, your jeep will be fine while the sedan behind you is totaled. on the other hand. i have beaten a mustang from a dead stop. granted, we were on a dirt road and the mustang backed off at about 25 mph.  |

People do that to me, especially in heavy snow. I hate it. Sometimes I dont think people understand that its a jeep, and Im already going as fast as I can go. As for the morons tailgating in 4" of slushy snow......theyre just idiots that dont understand that the speed limit is not the minimum speed under all conditions.

Its gonna be interesting, I get tailgated about 75% of the drive to and from work. I expect the Jeep to be totaled by the end of winter.

wasnt tailgating but a sabb 95 sport pulled up next to me at a light and kept edging up like he wanted to race. i was in my red 04 (which i guess looked like a race car...) but i decided to mess w. him and ended up beating him till 55mph!

Thats why I have a sticker on the back of my Jeep that says.... "FUH Q" It seems to work.
