What is the strangest/most interesting thing you have hauled or carried with/in jeep?

The title says it all!

Today at work I had to transport 33 large pizzas in the back of my WK and was wondering what other stories people had for strange/unusual/interesting things carried or hauled with/in their jeep!

I've hauled a 78 Harley chopper in my 79 J-10 (pic below).

I've hauled my brother's and his wife's apartment with my WJ (pic below).

I tried to haul *** in my wife's TJ. It has 4 angry squirrels under the hood so I was only able to maintain around 70 mph with my foot on the floor. Needless to say, *** was not hauled.

How did the WJ do with that load?

It did alright. I kept it out of overdrive and eased it up to 55 mph. While I could have gone faster, I would have been asking a lot of it. Fortunately it was only about a 15 mile drive down a flat country highway. Keep in mind, that's with the 4.0. The 4.7 would have handled it better.

For either engine, I wouldn't make a habit of hauling something like that.

haha I'll stick to pizzas for now.

I use to have the WK hauling a 3000lb boat on the weekends. It handled the weight pretty well, but in the long term probably wasn't the best for the jeep.

Not interesting or anything just sad.
My friends dead body

The story:
A few years ago my friend (lets call him John) had a hard time with lots of things.
One night he called me at 3AM and told me to hurry over to him because he had decided to end his own life by taking lots of pills and then washing them down with lots of alcohol, but he had then changed his mind after he had swallowed them.
I rushed over there and at the same time called the ambulance but they were over 30 minutes away on another call.
I was still talking to the operator at the emergency center and we decided that i would put him in my jeep and drive to the nearest hospital as fast as i could and they were sending out policecars to escort me to the hospital and help me get clear road ahed of me.

I had been flooring it for about 10 minutes when the policecars showed up with their lights and sirens and one got infront of me and the other behind me and they were also flooring it.
I was still talking to the emergency operator while that was going on, then i looked over at John and noticed that he was slumped over in the seat and was not breathing anymore, i told the operator what had just happend and then the policecars started to slowdown and i did to.
When we all had stopped the officers and i got out of the cars and ran to his side and opend the door to get John out and start to do cpr on him, when we had done that for maybee 10 seconds another car with blue lights comes flying up next to us and on the side of that car it says "emergency doctor"

When she came over and looked over John she said that it was to late he had passed away. She then said that even if we did get him to the hosptial it was already to late and that there was nothing they could do, if he had got help sooner he might have had a chanse but now it was to late.

I am glad that he choose to call me when he needed help but i wish that this night never had happend.
This took over 50 minutes to write because i had to take breaks from it.

The emergency the ambulance was out on turned out to be a prankcall from some bored ****head drunk teenagers.
If they had not decided to mess with the emergency services John might still be alive.

Nothing like Pierre's story, but I used my old 5 Willys CJ-5 as a mobile paint station.

I do apartment maintenance for a living and one of the tasks we were assigned was to repaint all the red curbs around the complex. Neither my boss nor I were too thrilled with the idea of trying to do it roller and pan, so I installed my inverter, popped the passenger's seat out and set the paint sprayer in its place, plugged the paint sprayer into the inverter and just idled around in 4Lo while my boss sprayed the curbs.

Worked a charm until we went to go clean the sprayer and realized the curb paint was oil based. Went through a full 5 gallon can of paint thinner trying to get the sprayer back to being a latex machine again...

I hauled pizzas for a bit. One shop sent me to another one to pickup a bunch of trays of pizza dough.

Hopefully this season I'll have a deer on my roof rack...
