South Jersey Wheelin in my backyard

So I bought this Jeep for $500 with the sole purpose of using it to cut trails in the thick brush and sticker bushes in the woods behind my house.

It was doing well until the front two wheels sunk down in a marshy area and I was unable to back out. Stuck!

After sitting there for 2 days my buddy came over with his Chevy (only 2wd at the time) and made matters much worse by getting stuck himself. He came over around 7pm and didn't get out until 2am.

The next evening my other buddy (with 4wd) came to the rescue and hooked up a 12k winch with a snatch block (yes to my Jeeps rear axle housing). I was praying it didn't rip the rear out! The winch stalled and overheated.

Turns out the transfer case guard that hangs down way low on the ZJ was hooked on a stump. As soon as we jacked up a little on the one side that the stump was on the jeep pop'd right out!

I always did like a sad story with a happy ending.

Yup no harm no foul and man its nice to be able to get a rig stuck, turn it off, get out of it and walk 2 minutes back to my house leaving it there for a few days.
