It is cool to share a common interest with people form around the world, to see what kind of wheeling enthusiasts on the other side of the fence do. Thank you Aaron for your purchase, the great write up, and the permission to share.
Well, we are back from Just Jeep. It was a great event, very well organised, and great trips, everyone that went can't wait for the next one. It was based in Reefton, on the South Island's West Coast. Reefton is an old gold mining town founded in the 1800's, and was the first place in New Zealand to get electric street lights, current population 950. The surrounding area is littered with trails to old gold mines, most now unused apart from for 4WDing. There are still a number of working gold mines on the west coast today, and we export a lot of coal from the west coast as well.
Here are a few photos that I took on the second day, during out trip into Big River, and old gold mining area, which was in operation until the 1950's.
There are a few photos of the trip, and a couple of poser shots on the RTI ramp, during our RTI competition.
Bye for now,
Aaron
Jeep Wrangler TJ - MESAIL
PS That new steering stabiliser bolted right up, no worries at all, even though my Jeep is right hand drive, as are all over this side of the world

It works really well - great product.
