People keep stealing my Jeep parts

Two months ago someone stole my back spare tire. Last night someone stole my entire hardtop roof. Right out of my drive way. I live in Pacific Beach, its not known for being the hood by any means. Is there any way to track these people down, or prevent this from happening. Watch out for your jeeps in San Diego someone going around taking parts.

Sleep in your jeep. They'll **** around with you until they know you'll push back.. I've been on both sides of this kind of situation. I did stupid crap as a kid

Get a dog. I know immediately if someone is anywhere near my house.

Not an expensive breed though, or they might steal the dog too...

Someone was stealing spares off jeeps around where I live not to long ago. I went and bought locking lugs and then the tire stealing stopped. I would assume they finally got caught. Serves them right!
